Shiny Floor Friday

Since my house is the best eye candy I can think of these days, I couldn't resist one more transformation montage:

We pulled down the hideous "wood" paneling...
...tore up the lovely shag to reveal even lovelier linoleum...
...then scraped, patched, sanded, primed and painted the walls......sanded and finished the floors...
...and finally, installed the trim. (I learned to cope moulding joints! I'm a craftswoman!)

Have a good weekend, y'all. I guarantee not one but TWO finished objects in the next week. You can probably guess what one of them is; here's a sneak peek at at the other.

Wow, that's an *amazing* transformation. Were the wood floors underneath the shag and linoleum?

Wow! You did an amazing job! Did you want to cry when you ripped up the shag and saw the linoleum?

OK, that's the most impressive thing I've seen in a long time. The room looks beautiful. You'll have fond memories of doing all that work together, way to go.
